Kim’s Fund was created to support ground-breaking research that will one day rid the world of leukemia.  Formed in 2000 in memory of Kim and in celebration of the progress made toward fulfilling her dream to see a world without cancer, the goal of Kim’s Fund is to reach $1 million raised for leukemia and other cancer research and for assistance of needy patients undergoing treatment for leukemia.

Kim’s battle with leukemia was difficult and frightening to the end.  Kim lost her battle, not to the disease, but to complications from her bone marrow transplant.   But it is the disease we must beat and Kim’s loss we must avenge.  Through this Fund, which Kim founded, we have been given the chance to fight back.  We have turned sadness into strength, anger into action.

Kim’s Fund has created a strong base of loyal supporters, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars during the last seven years to benefit the fund, its mission and The M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Please help us to continue our fight.  We welcome you to share this site with others, help us in our cause and take an active role in our upcoming events.
